These are a VERY simple item to install
that create some VERY cool effects! These install
instructions show how to install these so that they're
activated with the Parking Lights. You can also connect
these directly to the battery so that they're always on
without much worry of them running your battery down.
Step
1: Drill the Holes
Your instructions may be
different - but mine use a 5/8" drill bit. Double
check to make sure the included instructions in the
package say 5/8" drill bit.
You want to drill 1 hole in each headlight. The best
spot to drill the hole in your Honda del Sol
headlights is shown in this picture. |

Step 2: Insert your
Illuminators
You want to
install these by lubricating them a little and
pressing them into the holes. They're hard to get in
because you need to ensure a strong seal so water
doesn't leak in here. Just press hard and lube them up
a bit. |

Step 3: Wiring
The wiring is
VERY simple. Mount the black box close to the
passenger side headlight. You need to ground the BLACK
wire on a good grounding point. The one shown in the
picture just behind the passenger headlight works
well. Just loosen the bolt a little - place the wire
under the bolt and tighten it down. |

The BLUE and YELLOW wires
are just as easy. Remove your passenger side Corner
Light. Disconnect the power connection. Wrap the blue
and yellow wires and insert them into the Corner Light
power connection as shown in the picture. Just re
install the corner lights power connection back over
these and it will hold the wires so that they wont
move. Reinstall your corner lights.

Testing:
At this point the Illuminators
should power up with your corner lights - the RED wire is
not used at all. If the Illuminators dont come on with
your corner lights double check your connections and make
SURE that you've put the BLUE and YELLOW wire into the
correct point in the corner lights connector.
