WHO ARE WE?

We're a small Honda del Sol enthusiast group. That simply consists of my wife (Tiffany), my little brother (sort of) and myself, Graham Slaughter. Between the 3 of us we own 3 Honda del Sols.

1 - '93 Si - Turbo d16Z6

2 - '93 Si - that is basically bone stock

3 - '94 Vtec - Powered by a '94 GSR B18C1

Where do our parts come from?

We started this website over a year ago as a general way to interact with the del Sol community. We're hooked up with a large warehouse who drop ships ALL of our orders - except the floor mats. The warehouse is the single largest aftermarket warehouse in the world and has 3 different shipping locations across the states. This essentially gives us IN STOCK access to a LOT of parts - all stocked by the warehouse so we don't actually keep them here at the house / office. Still it enables to send these parts out VERY quickly and most customers receive their parts within 3-4 days. The exception to this is the floor mats. The floor mats are produced by an out of state factory that has been very generous in their time and assistance in getting these things done RIGHT.

Why don't we sell a larger variety of parts?

So why don't we sell all those parts that Keystone carries? (and yes there ARE a lot of them). The answer is simply that we don't want to sell you something unless it meets some simple criteria.

1 - Is it a hard to find part?

2 - Can we offer a better price than most sellers?

3 - Is it something that the community NEEDS?

4 - Is it the kind of quality part that we would want on our own cars?

If we can answer yes to these questions - then we feel comfortable offering them to you. The last thing the del Sol community needs / wants is a load of cheap crappy parts crammed down their throats. Just go to Ebay and see the infinite hoard of cheap parts that SUCK that these people shamelessly offer you. Can we sell you these? Sure. Will we? ... um no. Even though we're a tiny little website - we have a reputation to uphold in the small del Sol community.

We will continue to add more parts to our catalog - but only if they meet this criteria - please feel free to suggest something we miss!

Why dont you sell OEM Parts? People need door handles!!!

Which brings me to the most common question EVER - can we get OEM parts? We used to sell these - but found later a much better resource for them ... and you don't need a dealers license to get them!

http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com - can supply you any OEM Honda parts you need. Their prices are cheaper than WE could get them directly from a dealer with a dealer's license. So - buy them there! They've always been very prompt in sending our orders and like I said - cant beat the prices.  

Technical Knowledge

We do ALL the work on our own cars. We've pretty much taken them completely apart and put them back together by ourselves. We installed the turbo ourselves and swapped in the GSR engine ourselves. So needless to say we have a fair bit of knowledge that we're happy to share with you. This was of course the intention of the 'How To' pages - but we've been so busy with customers and real life - that our time for such things has dwindled. We still intend to continue adding useful content and will do so likely until we blow ourselves up doing something ourselves - but for now - customers come first.
